Works at Meta Search Catalog - catalog for movies, music's and software.

Why we are doing that?

CD Bank now is a disks cataloguer. We design some additional benefits features, as loan management or cover printing, but at the heart, CD Bank still manipulates by disks.

We have the far-reaching designs - CD Bank should improve the base concept. We want to manage the objects like Album, Film, or Program, instead CD, DVD, Floppy. Disk is just a physical media for data or entertainment. Wanted information can be storing on several media, mixing with other, anything else. Some information has not digital representation (LP disks, paper books). Some items can be linked by very complicated relation (one person can be a movie artist, musical performer, or book author).

How we can reach this target?

We have the plans to add the support for complex database (persons, films, albums etc.), and linking this base with disk catalog. It should be a optional add-on, because not all of CD Bank users require such functionality.

Now we have completed the first, Alpha version of described Meta Search Catalog. In the nearest days it will be ready for preliminary testing.

Musical records (albums, CDs, MP3, LP, cassettes, singles)
Video clips (CDs, DVDs, tapes)
Books (electronic and paper)
Software titles
Etc

Metacatalog database are organized as tabbed tables. Each item can be linked with any numbers of disks in CD Bank catalog.
